Maria Anderson came to Ashland in April, 2006 as Administrative Assistant, after 34 plus years working the S. C. Employment Security Commission.

She grew up in Columbia and attends Main Street UMC. Her husband, David, is a UM pastor and works in the conference office as the Conference Benefits Officer.

They have one daughter, Emily, who is married to Bryan Catoe and lives in Camden.  The first granddaughter, Rachel, was born in February 2010 and is the “most precious granddaughter in the world.” 

Maria enjoys spending time with her family, friends, traveling, shopping, and attending USC sports events.
