Acts 8: 14-17 The gospel expands, as the Samaritans receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 29 Considered one of the oldest psalms, the author proclaims the glory and strength of God.

Luke 3: 15-17, 21-22 When John the Baptist baptizes Jesus, a voice from heaven proclaims - "You are my beloved Son."

January 17, 2010 2nd Sunday after the Epiphany
