2 Samuel 7: 1-4a David asks to build a temple, but God promises a dynasty and a son who will build the temple. Psalm 89: 20-37 God's promise of love, protection and a dynasty for David.

Ephesians 2: 11-22 Jews and Gentiles are united in Christ and made part of the glorious dwelling for God's spirit.

Mark 6: 30-34, 53-56 The disciples return from their mission and Jesus takes them away for awhile, but the crowds followed Jesus even into the wilderness.
