Youth Ministries

Youth classes have three age levels that study core beliefs of Christians and apply their faith to everyday life. Children from kindergarten to sixth grade use the "Exploring Faith" curriculum with weekly lessons on Bible stories. We know you will find Ashland to be open and inviting as you join us in worship and Sunday school.

Confirmation Class

Sixth grade confirmation class will begin on November 13 and will meet Sundays from 9:45 - 10:45. Our confirmands will have the opportunity to join the church on Pentecost Sunday, 2006. Instructors will be Bob Graczyk, Daniel Flessas, Suzy Speas and Rev. Joel Jones.

Children's Class

Each week the children, toddlers thru sixth grade, explore the Bible stories using songs, crafts, activities, and other media. The lesson/story is introduced at a gathering time, and it includes music or related movie excerpts. The children are then directed to their classes. We have a great
team of teachers!

Youth Class

Our youth meet in the Youth Building outside the education wing. Each of the two classes focus on how the Bible relates to their lives. The Junior High class is studying how the church came into being and who John Wesley was.

The Senior Highs use the "Core Beliefs" series, focusing on the parables and Ten Commandments and Disciplines.
